Hi CEPS Students! We have an important announcement for you:

The voting period for College Government positions begins TODAY (February 11th) and ends Friday February 15th. Please take this chance to have a say in who will represent you during the 2019-2020 school year. We have some awesome candidates in the running for next year. ***CEPSSC Elections*** Make a Difference on Campus through Your Student Government!

Hello CEPSSC students,

Hope you all had a great reading week! With another school year comes another executive election, and we are pleased to announce that our executive nomination forms are now live. From now until March 12th, we are accepting candidates for the following positions: President, Vice President – Communications, Vice President – Finance, Vice President – Social Affairs, Vice President – Internal Affairs, and Vice President – External Affairs. Please note the Vice President (External Affairs) is new for the upcoming year, and the position’s description is to be approved at this year’s Annual General Meeting.

In order to run for an executive position on CEPSSC, you are required to do the following:

  1. YOU: Fill out the nominee form.
  2. One OTHER CEPS student: fill out the nominator form to endorse your candidacy. You cannot endorse yourself.

It is strongly recommended that all nominees attend the board meeting on March 12th, 2018, at 5:30pm in SSC 1504. This will give you a chance to present to the board.

The links to the forms can be found through our Gryphlife page or down below:

Both forms close on March 12th, 2018 at 5 pm; late submissions will not be accepted.

Please refer to our constitution on our website or this email if you have any procedural questions.

If you wish to ask questions to our current executive about their positions, you can find each of our current email addresses on our website as well. We will also be hosting an informal, “office hour”-style session on Wednesday, March 7th, at 5:30 pm in our offices SSC 1505/6 to also give you a chance to ask questions and get a feel for each of the positions. And as always, you can always swing by our office hours, which are also listed on our website.

Best of luck and we hope you all have a great day!
